We worked with Bennox Foundation to build a website that tells a deeply human story and gives donors, partners, and supporters a clear reason to get involved.
Bennox Foundation was founded by Rogers and Lieke, a family from Kassunga, Kalungu District to carry forward the legacy of Rogers' late mother, Nasuuna Teopista, who spent her life caring for the people around her. Named after their three sons (Benson, Lennox, and Jaxx), the foundation runs education support, youth skills training, women's empowerment, mental health awareness, and reproductive health programs across one of Uganda's most underserved communities.
The challenge was building a site that honored the emotional weight of that story while functioning as a practical fundraising and partnership tool.
The project included:
- A homepage built around the foundation's vision statement and a direct donation call-to-action, leading with the human story before the programs
- Individual program sections covering all six focus areas: Education Support, Youth Skills and Empowerment, Women Empowerment, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Reproductive Health Awareness, and Community Resilience
- A dedicated Our Story page giving full context to the founding family's background, their connection to Kassunga, and the legacy they are building
- Donation integration connecting directly to their GoFundMe campaign, removing friction for international supporters
- A Get Involved page outlining how donors, volunteers, and partner organizations can engage
- A gallery section showcasing real community moments from Kassunga, giving visitors visual proof of the work on the ground
- A Contact page with dual phone numbers (Uganda and Netherlands) for supporters across both countries
- Trust signals throughout 50+ families supported, 100% to the cause — keeping the numbers honest and grounded
- Mobile-first design suited for a global audience accessing the site from Europe and across Africa
