Project Details
We worked with Good News Biodigesters to build a site that educates first and converts second, because in a market where most homeowners have never heard of a biodigester, trust and clarity are what close the sale.
Good News Biodigesters installs and maintains modern biodigester systems for homes, apartment complexes, schools, and commercial properties across Ghana. Their core proposition is simple: no septic tank smell, no frequent emptying, built to last. They also offer general plumbing, water pump installation, and hands-on training for Ghanaian youth looking to enter the construction and sanitation trade. The challenge was building a site that could explain an unfamiliar product, handle multiple service lines, and make it easy for homeowners in Accra to pick up the phone or send a WhatsApp.
The project included:
- A homepage leading with the zero-odor, zero-maintenance value proposition and immediate calls to action for installation quotes and WhatsApp contact
- Individual service pages covering all four offerings: Biodigester Installation, General Plumbing, Water Pump Installation, and Practical Training
- A dedicated Learning Center with video content covering how biodigesters work, maintenance tips, installation walkthroughs, cost comparisons with septic tanks, and common myths
- A Chemicals section for biodigester maintenance products, giving the business an additional revenue stream beyond installations
- A detailed FAQ section addressing the specific concerns Ghanaian homeowners have before committing to a new system
- SDG alignment displayed clearly on the homepage, positioning the business within the broader sustainability conversation for clients and institutional buyers who care about that framing
- WhatsApp integration throughout the site, matching how customers in Ghana actually prefer to get in touch
- An About page grounding the brand's mission around health, environment, and community impact
- SEO structure targeting high-intent local searches like "biodigester installation Accra" and "plumbing services Ghana"
- Mobile-first design for a customer base that browses and inquires almost entirely on their phones
The standout part of this build was the education layer. Biodigesters are still unfamiliar to most Ghanaian homeowners comparing them to standard septic systems. The Learning Center and FAQ were built specifically to close that knowledge gap before a prospect ever reached out, so the sales conversation could start from a much higher baseline.
